Work hard, play hard - Monday, October 6
Oh yes we can, seemed to be the motto, doing it all and then some. It all went by so fast, and I can remember some amazing highlights as well as some seriously blurry evenings after too many hours staring at pixels.
So yea, crazy summer. We were out travelling whenever we had a spare moment and the more I look back at the months the more I can't believe Brandie and I packed it all in. From our hometown treks in San Jose to hiking through the steep canyons of Zion National Park, then there's the beaches of Santa Cruz, Miami Beach, Key West and Big Sur, plus hiking amongst ancient redwoods at Big Basin, fun with the Jackson5 in Portland for a fireworks spectacle, hit up Las Vegas for some gambling games and family visits, oh right and can't forget the moment when we didn't think we'd make it back to this reality after taking one unforgettable 'short-cut' and created our own eco-trek.
Mmmmm good times. Wouldn't trade them for anything. Ok, maybe some more sleeping in time with the cat, but yea, serious, amazing.
