Stockholm Edit - Tuesday, February 26
Ah the city of Stockholm. Beautiful sweeping skylines with steeples and naives extending into the gray sky of winter. Given, Stockholm was much warmer than Kiruna, which is where the ICEHOTEL is situated, inside the Arctic Circle. There was still a bit of chill in the air. Snow even throughout some of the days. Still, wasn't much of an appearance from the sun, yes bright and light for a bit, but for sure, no sun. Feels like it's been a long dark winter.

Thankfully, being back in California, I have reconnected with the sun and realized that travelling far from home gives such a huge appreciation for what most of us take for granted everyday. Love life today and slowly breathe in some clean air while reminding yourself that yes, it's good.
Two-New from Sweden - Thursday, February 21
A couple more new galleries from our recent trip to Sweden. Still trying to figure out what to do with the galleries that these have replaced, but until then, working on more new ones. The past couple of weeks the weather in San Jose has been epic, and thoughts of spring were dancing through my brain. Hmm, the last couple of days though, reminds me that yea, it's still only February and warmer weather is still a bit further away. Thankfully, not nearly as cold as Sweden. Mind you that the ICEHOTEL is located inside the Arctic Circle. Definitely a winter wonderland. So, yea - more sun please.
ICEHOTEL - Monday, February 18
Getting a chance to organize and edit some photos from our trip to Sweden. Put up the first few, not in perfect chronological order, but at least it's a start. Trying to get my new system all in order. Something, better than nothing. So many great pics, always difficult to choose in the editing process. Hope you enjoy. Let me know what you think. Does this mean I might be getting on a roll here? Hmm, that would be nice. Still lots of photos of Spain, Big Sur and Palm Springs to get to. Oh, right and the Getty Center... oh yea. Time to get to work.
Return of the Quakes - Wednesday, February 13
The San Jose Earthquakes are going to make it official again, bringing the MLS back to the bay. They just released their schedule for 2008 and it looks like my afternoons are going to be filled with lots of soccer action. Can't wait. Tonight is an unofficial look at the team in a friendly against Houston Dynamo. This game will mark the first time that the Earthquakes play since they left San Jose in 2005. Should be interesting.
Aperture 2
Currently giving Aperture 2 the once over and trying to figure out 'how' or 'if' it will be part of my new photo workflow. I imagine that almost anything will help at this point, since nothing to date seems to fit the bill.
Sweden Memories
Back in California, Sweden was beautiful. Also noticed that I haven't posted anything since the end of November. Nice.
More of what's new.
