07 My Digital Journal
Short days and even shorter attention span - Friday, November 30
Seems that winter is in full effect, at least when it comes to the amount of sunlight reaching our ever so small eyes. Good for hibernating, not so good for shooting photographs. By the time I leave the studio everyday it's dark. This lack of sunlight and slightly cool temperatures makes me a little unmotivated, just enough to get out to a local restaurant, eat some nice warm food and carry along only to crash into bed as soon as possible. Fun times. Good news is that the green house (yes, the new one) is coming together and thanks to Brandie, my personal interior designer and super-hot lover, is becoming quite the love-nest. Oh yea.
Lines in the sand - Monday, November 12
Who doesn't like to visit the beach and draw in the sand. Works of art that last just hours, if not minutes. The quick sketch of your most top of mind subject. A simple way to bring your thoughts into the physical world. Jim Denevan has accomplishes some of the most amazing sand drawings I've seen. Purely modern, often thought-provoking. This one is among my favourites, curious how much time he spends perfecting his images.
Internet connect - Friday, November 9
After months and months of going without an internet connection at home, I've finally broken the code. Up and just as fast as I can remember. My new home in San Jose is coming together quite nicely. Now off to more tearing down, rebuilding and painting. Photos in the can.
More of what's new.
