Mass Individuality - Monday, October 24
Gettin all psyched for some snow to start falling in the mountians, but with weather like today, sunny and 65, I doubt much is dropping today. Friday night was a good one with the ones we call Nemo and the guys from US Outdoor to kick off a good bunch of snowboard flicks ready for release. Plus to get even more stoked about riding this year, check this little Burton custom job. So sweet. Looks like everyone is going custom. So is it stil custom or what is custom anyways?
Fresh Faces - Tuesday, October 18
One of my new favourite photographers for fresh faces and beautiful celebrity shots, Ron Derhacopian.

Reconnecting with Tutankhamun - Monday, October 17
Heading to Los Angeles to meet once again, face to face, with the gold mask of Tutankhamun. An amazing piece of historical craftsmanship I first came in contact with in Cairo. The Los Angeles County Museum of Art, LACMA, hosts this exclusive Egyptian exhibition of 50 major artifacts and over 70 other pieces from royal graves during this 18th century dynasty. And this is only the very tip of the collection. While in Egypt I spent more than 5days scouring the museum and still did not see it all. Ruling for only 9years and not quite reaching his 20th year, King Tut has become an icon for an era of tradition, treasure, religion and luxury.

A Dark Day for Animation History
FUCK??!! That's horrible! Was my reaction after hearing from a friend in London about a recent fire consuming the warehouse holding the entire collection of Aardman Animations' Wallace and Gromit sets, props, storyboards, plus other countless animation features they've created during the studio's 29 year history. What could have been one of the most celebrated animation museums, went up in smoke and reduced to piles of ash and rubble. So sad.
Show and Tell
House Industries, makers of fine type and creative lettering offer some insight into their inspirations and daily wanderings with Show and Tell. A great place to check out typefaces and see what they're up to over in Yorklyn, Delaware.
Mojo
Just recieved a tip for all you lip lovers Mojo Cosmetics. Quite possibly the most innovative lipsticks in the world, plus they're strictly made from high quality botanicals. Thumbs up for thinking green and designing a 'beauti'ful product.
Volvo Ocean Race
As the 5th of November is rolling around soon I'm personally looking forward to the year's Volvo Ocean Race in which 7 sailboats are going head to head during one of the greatest sea adventures to date. There's always a flury of media surrounding the event, not to mention an amazing course around the world. Stay tuned...
More of what's new.
