07 My Digital Journal
Gomma, gomma - Friday, April 29
A new magazine coming out, showcasing some serious international talent. You should see Gomma out at newstands in next couple weeks, or order your copy online today. I know for sure that David Gray photos will be included. He's gots photo skills. Cool, just saw that Boogie, Brooklyn street photographer is in too. Anyways, waiting for my copy. Let ya know when I get it.
Street Photography - Tuesday, April 26
Joe's NYC is all about the life of photographer Joseph Holmes and his canvas, the streets of NYC. He's been posting photos since early '04 and continues to put up some fresh frames. Also, Orbit 1 is a really nice photoblog, not to be missed. Check the archives.
Flying shutters - Monday, April 25
As I await the official coming of spring/summer 2005 to Portland I've had some time to connect with some great German photographers. Working with both the Lexus and Mercedes design groups I had the chance to collaborate with some of the best in the industry. It seems Barbara Soltmanowski, an agent for some hot shooters, also knows the same people. Carsten Minkwitz has some great stuff to check out. Adrian Burt is one not to miss as well. Get inspired.
Sites of Late - Thursday, April 21
Been awhile since I've really posted any kind of links to the great amount of cool shite I've been seeing lately. Alright, if you haven't checked out Gizmodo lately, do so now. I'm sure it will lighten your wallet. Everytime I'm on that site I find more cool gadgets to seek out.

Stephane Coutelle has been pulling the camera trigger since the 80's and his stuff flat out rocks. The portfolio section is beautifully put together, his best shots. If you're into checking his personal projects I liked the 'some' project, really great collection of life.

Blake Little, photographing the celebrity world for the past 16years, and kicking some serious ass. Him and Mike Myers go way back with the Virgin Shaglantic campaign. Among Blake's stuff I really dig the SPORTS and EDITORIAL sections. A couple great Jack Black moments as well.

On the fashion tip. Dunderdon is making their move and looking to open a store in the US, I hope. Their stuff is looking really good right now and hey, if you need a hook-up trying to locate it let me know, or ask your local fly fashion-shop. I've been wearing their jeans almost everyday now and love the dark denim.
Land of Sunshine
Yea, well on the west coast, the land of sunshine is CALIFORNIA. Even living in Portland, just coming out of an insane stretch of sun this spring, it's just never quite enough. Spending a week in LA definitely improved my tan and most of all allowed me to catch up with everyone I've been missing. Well, almost got to see everyone. It seems I forgot how difficult it is to meet up with people who live in the greater Los Angeles area. It's way to expansive to be spontaneous and, you know, just hop out for a beer. By the time you neck it, you've gotta leg it all the way home.
Springing Forward - Wednesday, April 6
Just getting into the month of April and already I can feel the push of travel and the excitement of new places. Looking out at the morning sky today makes me think there is a move coming in the near future. I don't know if this will be a long distance move or one just around the block? My studio has been seriously active lately and I can sense a redesign of this site coming soon. I know there's a re-vamp coming even sooner. The archives are almost set in place and the code is continuously being reshaped by weary eyes. The shower is hot, the weather is cool and my senses are coming alive as spring begins to peek around the clouds.
More of what's new.
