Want to share this traffic map for anyone living in the LosAngeles area. It's a really great resource to have, especially if you really hate sitting in traffic, like i do. I've been using it for awhile and it's very reliable.

Happy Birthday to NewsToday.com!! Like most things, it just keeps getting better with age. Interestingly enough, Decibel Dragon will be turning 1year old pretty soon as well. How cute, we almost share birthdays.

Keep an eye out next week for photos up on A Day in the Life. I will be presenting one photo each day of the week. The 26th of August to the 1st of September. This is a great project: Each day, one new photo will be posted on the site. A photographer is assigned to shoot one photo a day for seven days. A nice collection of photographers as well, from SanFrancisco, Beirut, Vancouver, Brooklyn and many more to come.

Interesting article on the history of the Apple logo over at Macnyt.dk. Also in case you haven't heard yet, Apple has released a new line of G4s. Look pretty nice, best of all–even faster.

Ilkka Keskinen, a photographer who is very dedicated to his love of water. He has been actively shooting for over 25years. For Ilkka, life without water is not life at all; he has become an expert in capturing amazing surrealistic underwater photos. Most underwater photographers are known for shooting the depths of oceans and the beauties of sea vegetation, but Ilkka's visions are created in crystal clear swimming pools. With models at 10feet down, he has created some very unique and stunning photos.

Support Internet Radio today!! Tomorrow might be too late. Most of us remember Napster, internet radio could be next. We shouldn't let any government silence the internet.

Also on the blog tip, ran into this: International Blog Meetup Day. The official day is 21 August 2002 at 7pm. Apparently this happens every month, the third wednesday. Might be interesting, check one out in your area.

Sounds like Pyra and Blogger are on the move. Sometime later this month, the first public, large-scale, non-Pyra-run installation of Blogger will go live. Sporting an all-new and improved base, which will improve speed and performance. Always good to hear about progress.

Tomorrow, Wednesday the 7th of August is update day here at Decibel Dragon. Got a couple really nice slideshows coming together. Also there will be new additions to the inspiration section. Interviews are coming in and won't quite make the wednesday update, but will be up very soon after. In the meantime, if you've seen it all, check out the Photograph a Week project I've been working on, some pretty interesting photographs plus a bit of commentary on each.
